  1. Can two adults come to baby swimming?
Yes, you are very welcome to do that. However, as a general rule, only one adult may be in the water at a time with the child. The other adult is also very welcome to watch.

  2. How do I pay for baby swimming?
Payment is usually made by bank transfer or MobilePay. Payment must be made when booking, or no later than 3 weeks before the course starts. On some courses, it is also possible to pay in cash on the first day of lessons. This will be stated in the course information.

  3. Is the price for baby swimming including entry to the swimming pool, or do I need to buy a separate ticket?
The price includes entry to the swimming pool in connection with baby swimming. So you do not need to buy a separate ticket.

  4. If I am not able to attend every swimming session, can I avoid paying for all sessions?
No, you sign up and pay for the full course. We reserve a place for you on the team every week, even if you are not able to attend every session.

  5. Is it possible to have a trial lesson for baby swimming, or to cancel if it is not right for my child
Yes. If you change your mind, you can stop after the 1st or 2nd lesson and only pay for the sessions you have attended. This requires written notice no later than 24 hours after the lesson that was your last one.

  6. What swimwear should my child wear for baby swimming?
Your child must wear a swim nappy and tight-fitting neoprene swim pants on top, so they fit snugly. The swim pants must have a tight elastic fit around the tummy, back, and thighs. We recommend Splash About, as it is our experience that it provides the best protection.

  7. There are many people getting changed at the same time. Is there only one changing room?
That depends on the swimming pool. In most places, there is a shared changing area with separate sections for women and men. At some locations, it can be busy, so it may be a good idea to arrive a little early

  8. When should my child eat in relation to baby swimming?
It is best if your child has not just had a large meal right before swimming. Many children do best if they have eaten a little while beforehand, so they are neither too full nor too hungry.

  9. Can I heat baby food at the swimming pool?
That depends on the swimming pool. At some locations it is possible, and at others it is not. You are welcome to bring the food ready from home if you want to be completely sure.

  10. Why do I need to rinse my hair before entering the pool?
You should rinse both your hair and body thoroughly before swimming to help keep the water as clean as possible. This helps reduce impurities in the water and creates a better swimming environment for everyone.

  11. May I take photos during baby swimming?
As a general rule, no, not during the regular lesson. This is out of consideration for the other children and parents. We will let you know in advance if there are any special photo days.

  12. Can my child manage being in the water for 30 minutes?
Yes, most children can manage 30 minutes in the water. The lessons are adapted for small children and take place at a calm pace. Of course, if your child gets tired or needs a break, we take that into account.

  13. Can we start before my child is 10 weeks old?
We recommend that your child is about 10 weeks old or weighs around 5 kg before starting baby swimming, as some children can get tired quite quickly.
However, other children do very well starting earlier – it is very individual when a child is ready, so in the end it is your own judgment.

  14. Is it dangerous for my child that there is chlorine in the water?
No. Chlorine is used in pool water to keep the water clean and reduce the risk of infection. However, some children may get slightly dry skin, red eyes, or irritation. Therefore, it is a good idea to rinse your child in clean water after swimming and possibly apply some cream afterwards.

  15. Can I park at the swimming pools?
Yes, there is usually parking available at the swimming pools or nearby. This may vary a little from place to place.

  16. My child has a cold. Can we still come to baby swimming?
If your child has a bit of a runny nose but otherwise feels fine, you are welcome to come. However, if your child has a fever or seems unwell, then of course you should not go into the water.
